Black & White high volume photocopying

Black and White High volume Photocopying. All Zip Print shops are equipped with the latest digital technology. Digital laser copiers scan your original/s and convert to data which is simultaneously fed to the electronic RADF and stored for subsequent use. This enables you to remove your original/s for safekeeping or for immediate use elsewhere, whilst the job is being run. 600dpi resolution with text and photo mode enhance facility enables us to reproduce photos and half tones, sometimes improving on the original/s. Increase contrast mode automatically darkens the scanned image without affecting the background. Particularly useful when copying very light text, like handwritten pencil notes.

Other features of the digital copiers enable us to photocopy directly from your disc, saving you time and enhancing quality, particularly useful for those multi-page jobs such as training manuals. Other features such as 'step-and-repeat' and 'non-image area enhance' enable our trained staff to get the very best quality on every copy.

Zip Print shops are equipped with the latest Itec/Konica machines. At copying speeds of over 5000 copies per hour, here machines can produce your work quickly and of the highest quality. The machines will also collate and staple a job if required.

digital colour printing / Colour Photocopying

Digital lazer colour printers are standard in Fish Hoek and Wynberg shops. Up to date, well maintained colour machines enable us to reproduce copies which are sometimes better than the original. Print onto transparencies or light weight card. Print direct from your disk.

Printing to large format colour in is done at our Fish Hoek shop and produced on our Epson 9800.  This machine is the latest technology and coupled with a powerful PC Rip System and software, we can produce the highest quality large format posters from most files

plan printing & plotting

We are now offering the ultimate in wide format black & white printing, scanning, plotting and copying. Work from disc or email, we can plot, scan and copy at 4.8 metres per minute.

We are able to scan to PC, where we can edit and rotate the image, download to CD or storage on our network.

Offset litho Printing

Letterheads and corporate stationery. Whether you are starting from scratch or wish to change your current stationery, we have a wide range of local and imported paper, card and envelopes to choose from. We can enhance your corporate image with ideas on design, colours and types of paper. You will leave Zip Print with exciting new ideas and will be grateful you went to the professionals.

Invoice books - large or small orders, we can handle in days rather than weeks. Machinery which can punch, number and perforate in one pass through the machine, ensures high productivity. Creasing and scoring and die cutting is all done in house.

Full colour printing

Come and join the COLOUR REVOLUTION. Everybody wants it in colour these days, and we can oblige. We specialise in short run full colour work where we can produce anything from business cards to brochures. We can add a U.V. Varnish for a high gloss finish, if required.

Design and Layout

We have specialist graphic designers based in each Zip Print shop who can assist you with ideas on design and layout. Many printed samples to breeze through. State-of-the-art DTP systems and programmes enable us to offer literally hundreds of fonts and instant graphic logos. Bring in your favorite photos and allow us to scan and incorporate them into a brochure or business card, colour proofs for your approval. Bring your artwork on disk, we have all the software to suit most applications.

Business forms can be drawn up in hours rather than days. You need not pay exorbitant prices from ad agencies or graphic design studios. Our prices on design are reasonable and your jobs stay under one roof from concept to completion.

Laminating

Plastic laminating can be done in both Zip Print shops "Whilst You Wait". From business card size up to A0 (841mm in width).
